Zuri is a platform for finding meaningful connections built on trust and respect. These guidelines help maintain a safe, welcoming community.

2. Profile Standards

2.1 Authentic Representation

Use recent, clear photos that represent you accurately
No heavily filtered, misleading, or fake images
Your profile name should be your real name or close variation
Describe yourself honestly in your bio
No false information about age, location, or marital status

2.2 Profile Content

Avoid explicit or sexually suggestive photos
Do not include contact information (phone, email) in profile
No promotional content, links, or commercial solicitation
Do not impersonate celebrities or use photos of others
Avoid hateful language or slurs

3. Communication Standards

3.1 Respectful Messaging

Start conversations with genuine interest
Respect when someone doesn't respond or declines to chat
Avoid unsolicited explicit messages or images
Do not pressure anyone for photos, videos, or meetings
Use appropriate language; avoid insults or harassment

3.2 No Harassment or Abuse

Harassment of any kind is strictly prohibited:

No repeated unwanted contact after rejection
No threats, intimidation, or abusive language
No slut-shaming, body-shaming, or discrimination
No sexual coercion or pressure
No sharing of personal information without consent

4. Safety and Scam Prevention

4.1 Red Flags to Report

Profiles that ask for money or financial assistance
Users requesting payment for gifts or "verification"
Requests to move off-platform quickly
Stories that seem overly romantic or too good to be true
Requests for banking information or cryptocurrency
Photos that don't match the person in person

4.2 Safe Meeting Practices

Always meet in public places first
Tell a trusted friend where you're going
Share your location with a friend during the date
Use our Safe Date verification feature when available
Trust your gut; if something feels wrong, leave
Arrange your own transportation
Don't accept drinks you didn't watch being made

5. Prohibited Content

5.1 We Do Not Tolerate:

Hate speech, racism, sexism, or discrimination
Violence or threats of violence
Sexually explicit content (except private messages)
Child safety issues or exploitation
Illegal activities or substance promotion
Misinformation or dangerous health advice
Spam, bots, or automated accounts
Copyright or trademark infringement

6. Catfishing and Misrepresentation

Catfishing undermines trust and violates our values:

Do not use fake photos or identities
Do not pretend to be someone you're not
Do not hide key information (relationship status, age, etc.)
Misrepresentation may result in account suspension

7. Relationship Expectations

7.1 Honesty About Intent

Be clear about what you're looking for (casual, serious, etc.)
Be upfront about your relationship status
Disclose relevant information early (kids, past, etc.)
Don't mislead people about your intentions

7.2 Consent and Boundaries

Respect when someone says no
Ask before escalating physical contact
Get enthusiastic consent for intimate activities
No is a complete sentence; don't push for explanations

8. Privacy Respect

Do not share someone's photos or messages without permission
Do not publicly identify someone who wants to remain private
Do not screen record conversations
Do not share identifying information (location, workplace, etc.)
Respect others' boundaries about what's shared publicly

9. Reporting Violations

9.1 How to Report

If you encounter a violation:

Open the user's profile
Tap the report button (flag icon)
Select the violation type
Provide specific details and screenshots
Click submit

9.2 What We Investigate

Harassment or abusive behavior
Catfishing or misrepresentation
Scams or fraudulent activity
Inappropriate sexual content
Hate speech or discrimination
Safety threats

9.3 Reporting Process

We review reports within 24 hours
We take action for verified violations
Serious offenses may result in immediate account termination
We may report illegal activity to authorities

10. Enforcement and Consequences

10.1 Account Warnings

Minor violations may result in warnings.

10.2 Account Suspension

Serious or repeated violations result in temporary suspension (7-30 days).

10.3 Account Termination

Severe violations result in permanent bans:

Sexual assault or coercion
Serious harassment or threats
Fraudulent activity or scams
Illegal activity
Hate speech or discrimination

11. Appeals

If you believe your account was wrongly suspended or terminated, contact our support team with details at support@zuri.network within 30 days.
