By accessing or using Zuri, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Zuri dating application ("Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age
You have the legal authority to enter into binding contracts
You are not prohibited by law from using dating services
You have not been convicted of felonies or sexual offenses

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account information. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information.

3.2 Account Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for all activity under your account
You must immediately notify us of unauthorized access
You agree not to share your account or give access to others

3.3 Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or pose a risk to other users. You may request account deletion at any time through app settings.

4. User Conduct Standards

4.1 Prohibited Behavior

You agree NOT to:

Create false or misleading profiles
Impersonate others or use fake photos
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
Send unsolicited explicit content
Engage in scams, catfishing, or fraud
Solicit money, cryptocurrencies, or gifts
Share others' information without consent
Use the Service for commercial purposes (without permission)
Attempt to hack, scrape, or reverse engineer the Service
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Promote illegal activities or substances
Use bots, scripts, or automation tools

4.2 Content Standards

All photos and content must be:

Your own (no borrowed or stolen images)
Recent and accurately representative
Appropriate and non-offensive
Not sexually explicit (unless in private messages with consent)
In compliance with applicable laws

5. Verification and Safety

5.1 KYC Requirements

We require identity verification including government ID and facial recognition to maintain platform safety. By submitting verification documents, you authorize third-party verification services to process your information.

5.2 Safety Recommendations

Meet in public places for first dates
Tell a friend about your plans
Verify user information before meeting
Trust your instincts and report suspicious behavior
Never share financial information or passwords
Use our safe date verification feature when available

6. Payments and Subscriptions

6.1 Payment Terms

All fees are in the currency shown at purchase
Payments are processed through Paystack (secure payment processor)
Billing occurs on the date you subscribe and recurring dates thereafter
You authorize charges to your payment method

6.2 Refund Policy

Subscription refunds are available within 7 days of purchase
After 7 days, refunds are at our sole discretion
Non-refundable fees (e.g., Coins for gifts) cannot be refunded
Account balance does not represent stored value

6.3 Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription anytime in account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing cycle. No refund is provided for unused portions.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 Our IP

Zuri's design, functionality, software, and content are owned by Zuri Network and protected by copyright and trademark law.

7.2 Your Content License

By posting content (photos, messages, comments), you grant Zuri a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it for Service operation, improvements, and legal compliance.

7.3 Restrictions

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any part of our Service without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

Zuri is provided "as-is" without warranties
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
We are not liable for harm caused by other users (e.g., scams, harassment)
Our total liability shall not exceed the fees you paid in the last 12 months
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations, so this may vary

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Zuri harmless from claims arising from:

Your violation of these Terms
Your use of the Service
Content you post or communicate
Your interactions with other users

10. Service Modifications

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. We will provide notice for material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Third-Party Links and Services

Zuri may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Use at your own risk.

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law principles.

Most disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than court, except for claims seeking injunctive relief.
